1) Register to Vote & Help Others to Register – Now is the time to get ready for elections on November 6, 2018. If you are already registered – Great! Now help others – friends, family, gunowners and others who are fed up with the corruption in Albany. It literally takes minutes to fill out a simple form. The form must be sent to the county where you live; addresses are on the second page of the form.
You can download a copy of the form here: http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingRegister.html
2) Be a grass root! Join the organizations that fight for freedom in whatever state you live. Get involved in the ground game in your state. We must connect the dots — what happens in one state could happen in your state, given time and a slippery slope. The anti-rights crowd bakes its cakes in other states and exports them with lots of lessons learned. Look at what is happening in Washington; the people who should be on our side are part of the problem. Following are excellent pro-rights organizations:
SCOPE (Shooters Committee On Political Education) – http://scopeny.org/
New York State Rifle & Pistol Association (NYSRPA) — https://www.nysrpa.org/
National Rifle Association (NRA) — https://home.nra.org/
Gun Owners Of America (GOA) — https://www.gunowners.org/
South Carolina Carry (SCC) — http://www.southcarolinacarry.org/home
Firearms Owners Against Crime (FOAC) — Pennsylvania Gun Owners Defending The Constitution — https://foac-pac.org/
3) Support key candidates – Get skin in the game with candidates who will protect your rights and support the constitution. Get off the sidelines and invest in the future of New York State or wherever you live. Volunteer to put up yard signs, help register voters, work on phone banks, donate money or engage in activities that support the candidate of your choice. Contact your candidates’ campaign and find out what they need! You will be welcomed with open arms.
